Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
Ordered online, it shipped the same day. Received it 3 days later. There is a little assembly, but, pretty simple. It took me less than 15 minutes to install and no tools were needed. It is adjustable to be used on many different auto types, but, the instructions were very clear about how to adjust it to fit my 2011 Ford Edge. I have used it twice so far to transport my bike. There are a couple of items that are inherent in the design, not a flaw, but, you need to be aware of them. First, you can't use rear window wipers. Second, the back-up alarm goes nuts because it registers a bike less than 6 inches behind you (I tolerate it for the few seconds it takes to back out of my driveway or out of a parking lot). Third, there is a little flexibility, it is held on with straps and clamps, not bolts, so, it bounces a little when you go over bumps or make sharp turns, however, it holds the bike fast to the frame and stays on the car. I use mine to transport my bike on short trips around town to bike trails. On a long trip I would suggest checking that the straps remain tight from time to time during the drive.
Positive: The product is well thought out and works for a wide range of automotive vehicles. It comes with interesting dampers that i think work. Instructions seem to be translated from another language, but are quite good, accompanying pictures make installation straightforward. A test drive over speed bumps shows that the rack will support the bike for all travel needs. It can be disassembled , collapsed and stored in the trunk. Downside: The rack is made for the classic triangular shaped frame: horizontal cross bar, "male" bike. For bikes without the horizontal bar, mounting is a little less satisfactory. Such a bike can only be mounted on the outside mounts. Cannot use the damper on one side. Picture shows the mounting. as to a design solution, maybe brackets could be replaced with smaller profile, some adjustability? however, as it is, vibration control is good and adjustability with smaller profile would have vibration concerns.

Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
Super sturdy and easy to use/install. Love the bolt hitch attachment, keeps the rack from swaying/wobbling. Attachment points are very solid and the anti swing clips keep your bikes from smashing into each other and the rack during fast starts and stops. I use for all types of bikes, road, mountain, cruiser, children's, etc.
The good: I like the way the bikes are held in and the ability to add the upright adapters to the bike frame holders. The straps are quality too. For a jeep with a spare tire, this is the perfect length to clear it. This rack is 5 stars from the bike holders to the base of it. The bad: the 2"receiver adapter and bolt are insufficient. I wish they made this in a solid 2" hitch. The entire setup is held into the receiver by a very short bolt. It only goes about half way into the receiver tube. So your hitch is only "secured" on one side. A hitch pin or bolt should go through the receiver tube completely imo so it can be secured on the other end with a retaining clip or nut. Because this only goes in the one side, the entire weight of the rack plus bikes are held tight to one side of the receiver by the undersized bolt and washer. A few bumps down the road and that bolt loosens. Now instead of distibuting the weight of the rack and bikes on the receiver and post, it's completely up to the bolt to keep you from losing the rack. The bolt threads get damaged too. I took this down a dirt road and nearly lost everything. I had to buy my own bolt with hd fender washers and lock washers to correct this. Thule should've provided this from the start. The current short bolt design where only one side of the receiver secures the rack is unacceptable. This rack is 1 star at best for the connection to the receiver.

Saris Bones 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
While getting a bike rack for a sports car isn't ideal, I really wanted to transfer my bike with my own car instead of borrowing my friend's pickup truck. After hours of trying to find a bike rack that would be good for my 07 Mustang, I decided to give this one a try and I gotta say, it has been pretty good so far. It fits very well over the factory spoiler. One of my biggest concerns I was worried about when ordering a rack for my Mustang was ruining the paint, but the feet on the legs haven't left one scratch. I have used this to transfer my bike at freeway speeds (up to 80 mph) on car rides that typically last an hour and my bike was perfectly secure throughout each ride. For extra security, I wrapped both bike wheels with a ratchet strap so the wheels and pedals wouldn't shift in transit. So far, I am very pleased with this bike rack for the price and quality. I would highly recommend this if you want a rack that is affordable and durable.
Seemingly well-constructed and supported bike rack. It fits my 2018 Toyota Camry SE just fine and I haven't had any issues with sway or even feeling my bike while driving. I've only carried one bike on it and have used it a limited number of times, so I cannot speak on durability and longevity. Although you shouldn't open your trunk while the rack is attached, I have been able to do so with no issue (without the bike attached).

Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I had to put my electric bikes into this rack, backwards, to make them fit. Not ideal, but it works.The receiving 'trays' that are intended to provide support for holding the bikes, by being placed under the bike tires, are forced to be moved to a location that is not directly under the bottom of the bike tires. While it works in this manner, it is not ideal.For the support that attaches to the diagonal bike frame, we had to remove it from the vertical rail of the rack. We reinstalled it, upside down, because that's the only way we could make it fit, or 'grab', the bike frame. Again, we made it work, but it's not ideal. We chose to keep the rack because it was so much less expensive than the Thule rack we considered buying. The bike shop owner didn't agree with us. He observed that we are putting $3000 worth of bikes on the rack and risking that investment. So far, no problems, other than the ill-fitting installation.
With a few adjustments this rack has delivered. Needed to add additional strapping since the provide straps for securing the bikes to center bar were not long enough due to my ebike design (Velotric). My bikes are step through with a thick frame so provided straps won't fit. Simple adjustment with strapping resolved minor issue. Speed of 73 mph on the highway and some bumpy VT roads and this rack performed.

I own a 2005 Jeep Wrangler X with 31x10.5x15 oversized tires and wheels. I installed B6196001 HighRock 4x4 Oversize Tire Carrier by Bestop to carry larger spare tire. I needed a bike carrier that would carry our two crusier bikes and clear my spare tire. After measuring, I ordered: -> S64650 - Swagman 2-bike carrier -> 80300 - 7" Hitch Adapter 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver -> RM-061 - Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 2" Trailer Hitches Our order arrived very quickly, etrailer.com upgraded the shipping. All these products arrived well packaged and without damage. In 15 minutes I had every thing assembled, installed on my Jeep and bikes loaded. The bike carrier is very well constructed, finish is excellent and easy to adjust. When adjusting wheel loops and loading bikes, make sure you pay attention to bike pedal position. I chose this extension because I did not want to use the adapter that comes with the bike carrier, I wanted as few parts as possible to keep rattles to a minimum and gives me more options for towing. The anti-rattle bolt/pin firmly secures the bike carrier to the extension and the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch keeps the extension adapter from rattling in the receiver. Road tested approximately 25 miles over rough city roads ( including railroad tracks ), county roads and highway. Bikes traveled very well without any rattles. I can remove my complete setup quickly, fold and put in rear of Jeep if desired. I am very well pleased with my purchase. It works great! Easy, quick, you know. One needs to screw in the hitch bolt, for some reason, before latching it. Other than that, it makes going bike riding way easier.

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
First-time rack buyer / owner / installer. The rack arrived in a timely fashion, maybe a day or 2 ahead of schedule. It was well packaged. I’m LOVING this bike rack. It was easy to put together and to mount on my new Honda Passport. Thus far, no squeaks in my 2” receiver. Hardest part of initial set-up is figuring out the best way to position two bikes. Trial & error and some patience. The directions weren’t clear as to where the 2 left-over screws went. I found the answer in another review and have posted a pic in case others have the same problem (photo with pen pointing at screw). These screws go in the underneath side of both of the folding arms. They appear to keep the wheel wells from sliding off in case in you drive with an empty, un-folded rack, and forgot to tighten down the wheel wells. The folding arm push / pull pins can be difficult at times. I coated the tips with some lube. That and a little jiggling seems to solve that issue. I guess it’s better for the pins to be snug vs popping right out. I added a small Master lock to the hitch pin (in lieu of the provided cotter pin) as a theft deterrent. I read that a 3/16 shackle lock will fit into the bike clamp down arms to also act as a deterrent. I had an old 3/16 lock that did snugly fit and appeared to be locked. HOWEVER, I yanked on the lock and it came open as there isn’t quite enough clearance for the shackle to lock. I discovered that longer 3/16 shackle locks are hard to find. Have attached a photo of the lock that actually fits and works (Ace Hardware). One lock on the upper clamp down arm will secure both arms as the lower arm can’t be removed without removing the upper arm. The clamp down arms appear to be coated to prevent damage to your bike. I’ve tried a simple rag and ultimately settled on pool noodle pieces as a precautionary measure. I CAN NOT open my tailgate (regardless of whether or not the rack is fold up and in the bike carry position). If that’s a concern for you, then spring for the more costly titling version. My back-up camera still functions.
The Swagman XTC-2 platform bike carrier arrived very quickly from etrailer and in good shape, the actual carrier box is inside another shipper box, which I'm sure helped with its condition. Assembly was relatively quick and painless, even though the instructions could be a little more thorough. Installing the carrier on the back of our Jeep Patriot also was quick, it helps to have an extra ratchet & 3/4" socket laying around for just this purpose. Installing the bikes takes a little patience and trial and error the first time you try and put them on the carrier. It's easy enough to adjust the wheel holders to fit the wheelbase of your bikes, but for us at least, the challenge was trying to swing the vertical support bar up into position after putting on the first bike (closest to the Jeep). We couldn't angle the bike enough toward the Jeep to have the bar clear the bike. We learned that the easiest way to secure the first bike was to remove the ratcheting frame hooks altogether, put the bike in the carrier, swing up the vertical support bar, put in the pin, and then slide one of the frame hooks down on the bar. The outside bike is much easier because you can set the bike in the carrier at whatever angle you need, not being limited by the back of the vehicle. One thing we did to protect the bike frames was to use some foam pipe insulation as cushion between the frame hook and the frame (see pictures). Once you get a system for installing the bikes, it is very quick to load/unload them. The rack seems to be well made and doesn't wiggle excessively when traveling. All in all a good product for a good price, would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a platform bike carrier.

Yakima SuperJoe Pro 3 Bike Rack with Glass Hatch Hook Adapter - Fixed Arms - Trunk Mount
I have a little roller-skate of a car, a Mazda DX-5, so finding a bike rack was not easy. However, after a year of club riding, I am completely pleased with the performance and security of the Yakima Super Joe Pro 2 trunk rack. It caries two bikes securely and has yet to mar the finish on my car, and I dismount and remount it with great frequency. Well recommended!
The bike rack is very sturdy and did fit the Ford Focus (with spoiler) that I own. So I was very pleased... However, my Diamondback woman's mountain bike did NOT fit on the rack (even with the Bike Adapter Bar - Yakima Tube Top). I was so frustrated! So please make sure your bike model is known to fit on this rack before you purchase it.

Yakima HangOut 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Works great for my 2019 Jeep Renegade. I adjusted it to be open a little more, so I could use my rear wiper. It also keep pressure off the rear spoiler.
We purchased the Hang Out to expand our biking options while camping. Several years ago we purchased a Jack-It Aero carrier from e-Trailer to carry bikes on our TAG. It's a great option for transporting bikes T/F camp ground. But what do you do if the bike trails are a distance from where you’re camping? Enter the Hang Out. It takes up minimum space, mounts quickly to the Jeep and off we go. Bonus: We jettisoned a bulky, expensive hitch-mounted carrier and use the Hang Out for local bike excursions.

The rack is great just what I was looking for. The only issue I see is the straps are plastic so after using them for a little bit they broke. I had to order replacements. Let’s see how much time they last!

Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I’ve ordered multiple products from etrailer and the service is always attentive and delivery is fast. This bike rack installed easily and holds our four bikes securely (we have two adult and two kids bikes).
I have used this rack a lot in the past year and am happy with it. I have had zero issues. The price can not be beat. It holds 4 bikes easily for me but it helps to have a mix of sizes to offset the handlebars a little (I carry small and medium size bikes). I also found orienting the pedals up and down work better than front to back. Loading and unloading is quick once you get the hang of how to align the pedals. Where it differs from a rack 4X the price, this does strap around the frame so I have taped my bike frames to prevent paint damage. It bolts into the receiver, so it does take a wrench to install (it's not hard but an extra step). For the price this is a very solid rack and gets the job done.

Exactly as advertised, transported 2 Trek bikes on on the back of my 2016 Toyota Avalon without issue - travelling from Boston MA to Green Bay WI. Outstanding price buying this item as open-box. etrailer's website is the best I could find on the web with name brand racks, automated compatibility vehicle check, and they they shipped overnight.
The delivery was quicker than I expected, but apparently the item was not checked before shipping. There was a key strap missing. I called customer service and they said they would send me a replacement part. If that goes well, I would move my rating to four stars from two.

We are extremely happy with the purchase and will more than likely be purchasing another one in the near future. Assembly was very easy!!
This bike rack works great for our 2 Lectric 2.0 e-bikes. We mount it on our 2019 Honda Ridgeline. It folds up nicely when it’s on the truck and we are using our bikes. The locking mechanisms work well also. I contacted support for a smaller hook arm to clamp B over the bike frame. They knew exactly what I needed and shipped it - no problem.

Hyundai ElantraStill working great on my Hyundai Elantra sedan! It's used mostly to carry one bike, but have used it with three bikes with no problems. Easy to put on the car, and easy to store it in the car when not in use.
I did my research to make sure this 3 bike rack would fit my car. Unfortunately when it’s properly attached to my Honda Accord, the 3rd bikes petals rub up against my license plate and trunk therefore scratching my paint. Contacted etrailer and sent them pics. Very unhappy that they would suggest that I only use 2 bikes so it doesn’t damage my car. Defeats spending more $ on a 3 bike rack

Thule OutWay Platform Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Adjustable Trays
Originally I was looking to put a hitch on my 2021 jeep renegade sport for a hitch mount bike rack, after seeing that I would either have to remove seam sealer and drill holes in my rear subframe (this is not a good option living in the rust belt), or remove my entire back bumper off and cut holes in it for the factory style hitch, and still have a rack that is illegal and blocks my license plate/brake lights turn signals I decided to look at different options. A roof rack is a little too high to lift a bike on comfortably. This thule outway platform 2 takes about 10 minutes to install correctly, and is solid and holds the bike securely, and the rack locks to the vehicle, and also the bikes lock to the rack no extra purchases required (comes with 2 keys and plastic spoiler supports). I have driven 80mph over potholes and bumps, also on extreme hills and has held securely.
Great product. Packaging came damaged but product looked ok.

Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount
2010 Chevrolet HHRThe side / bottom straps are seriously lacking. It has those straps you would find on a backpack, making it difficult to securely tighten down because of the angle. I'd usually have to pre-tighten them to a certain length, then forcefully shove the whole rack until it clipped onto my car. They really just need to be ratchet straps. Even then, one of the side straps came off while driving after hitting a small pothole and the whole thing dangled to one side - Luckily I was in a parking lot. I've also never been able to fit 3 regular bikes, only 2. It's really only a capacity of 3 if you have 2-3 slim bikes. The rubber is so wide that it makes it nearly impossible to slide certain bikes on. If you have a step thru bike with one of those crossbar adapters, I wouldn't even bother with trying this. Unfortunately I don't use this anymore since I'd be constantly worrying the whole thing will come off whenever I drive.
Ford EdgeFits perfectly on our Lexus CT200h. Only on the old LS400, the side straps have to be fastened to the wheel arch edge, since the upper trunklid gap is to narrow for inserting the strap hooks. Mounting of two bikes is (with some routine) quickly done, and they stay safe even for longer and faster routes. For transporting three (mountain) bikes, though, the design doesn't seem big and robust enough. Nevertheless, the price-benefit-fun ratios are way better than reasonable.

Saris Door County Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - Electric Lift - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
My husband bought the bike rake specifically to carry out 2 Specialized Ebike’s which weight 62 to 65 pounds each. MWith this rake I don’t have to lift my bike up which is great when I’m alone. The only problem I’ve had is the outside bike straps. One of the ratchets broke and E-Trailer was wonderful in helping get us a replacement. My husband put the new one on. I do have friend’s that will be purchasing them in spring. The only complaints I have would be to Saris. Placement of the outside straps. It’s awkward latching them. Also, when my husband bought the rack the maximum weight load was more. They changed it to a lower amount.
You get what you pay for! Compared to the leading competitor, this e-bike rack was a breeze in setup and fit our Gazelles bikes like a charm. etrailer, as has been my experience over 10 years, was easy to work with in exchanging this rack and offering a price match credit. We got our product in 2 days from order and everything was in order with the charges. This rack rocks and is very stable. My only gripe is they need more instructional wording in their manuals. Pictures are great but need legends to match the pictures. The etrailer reviews were true to form. Order now folks - you won't be disappointed!

Thule T2 Pro X Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
High quality. Love the easy access handle for tilting up and down. Tightens into receiver hitch, keeping the bikes very stable. It comes with one lock for the receiver hitch. Wish there were two more, one for each bike. The mechanism is there, but no locks.
Works great, easy to use, secure with locking mechanism so I don't have to worry about it wandering off. Worth the money.

The Destination bike rack works perfectly on my 2020 Pacifica and I have clearance going over speed bumps! I recently upgraded my bike to a Trek step through which hung too low on my old Thule rack no matter how the cross bar adapter was adjusted. Problem solved!
Bought a hitch and rack off e-trailer for my 2019 Subaru Crosstrek to haul my bike back to TN and beyond. The first trip with the hitch and rack included a total of 8 hours across state lines and busy highways. The website claims the rack is lightweight, easy to use, and efficient. They promise expedited delivery of a quality product at an affordable price. Some of the top rated specs include padded, rotating holders to secure your bike, ratcheting wheel straps, folding design, and easy installation with locking hitch pin. With the first trip in the books, hoping for the best, and putting the hitch/rack to the test, we can confidently say it exceeded all expectations above, the bike arrived to the location in excellent condition and without worry, and products were delivered sooner than expected. The padded rotating holders, ratcheting wheel straps, and extra ratchet strap included fully accommodated and secured my Fuji bike frame and wheels the full 8 hours. There was absolutely no concern with shaking, wobbling, or rattling traveling far and on busy roads. I appreciate the quick and easy access to unloading the bike from the rack and/or folding the rack to use the trunk. If you’re on the fence, get off and just go for it!! You will not be disappointed. Great quality for a great price. I rated 4 only because I want to see how it holds up over time.

Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
I'm a senior e-biker who wishes to roll back the years, but that isn't possible. I drive a 2020 Chevy Equinox and have two electric bikes, which I had carried on a small rack. I saw the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes and resisted no longer. A few days later, my package was delivered. That night, I read and re-read the assembly instructions. It went together well, with no glitches. The hitch is super sturdy. No wiggle room at all. Once together, I loaded up my heaviest bike, mindful of using one of those metal bars for support since it's a low-step bike. (Remember, I'm a senior. Legs don't swing high like they once did.) Photos accompany them to show how she will ride. This will allow me to explore farther and go places I could not have before I had this rack. I like the ability to flatten it when not in use. This will also allow me to haul my granddaughter's bike together here in South Jersey or, as in "Toy Story," "To infinity and beyond."
After a rocky start, all is good today! Bike rack arrived quickly, and the etrailer shipping carton was in perfect condition but the Hollywood Rack carton was torn up and re-taped. Think I had been blessed with a customer-return, and there were parts missing. I made an inquiry to customer service, and had a call back within an hour (thank you Trevor!), and had the replacement parts from Hollywood in my hands by the 4th day.Thank you for the prompt attention, and quick turn-around!
Inno Roof Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chrysler 300
Today on our 2015 Chrysler 300, we're going to test the Inno Fork Lock roof-mounted bike rack. That part number is INXA391. We already have our bike on the rack. We're first going to show you how we strap that down, and then we'll go over some features of the rack. First, on our back tire we've got a ratcheting strap that you're going to see on most of your roof-mounted bike racks. You've got a lever on either side. We'll just push that down and then lift the strap through there, making sure that you set it between your spokes when you mount your bike up.

Today on our 2015 Chrysler 300, we're doing a test fit of the Inno Slim Fork Roof Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is INA387. Now we already have our bike on the rack, we're first going to show you how we connect that down and secure it. We will start here, in the back, at the back tire. Now this is going to be a little different than most of your roof mounted bike racks. This is actually going to sandwich and clamp your back tire in there. So, it's just an adjustable cradle that can move along the length of your bike rack, and we just use the knob on the side to loosen and tighten that.

Today on our 2015 Chrysler 300, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Vertex full bike rack, hanging style. The part number is TH9029XT. Now, we have a bike already on our rack, and we have the rack hooked to our vehicle. I'm just going to show you a few features of it. How we have our bike connected to our bike rack itself, we have a total of three straps. We have two up top, a strap to the side which we call our anti-sway strap. That's going to help from, when you're riding down the road, it's going to keep the bike not swaying so much.

Today on our 2015 Chrysler 300 we're going to do a test fit of the Sairs 00:03:56 freedom super clamp 2 bike rack platform style part number is SA4025. Now we have a bike on our rack and we have it hooked up to our vehicle, how about I just show you some features. Now we have the bike hooked up to our bike rack itself. We have our 2 frame hooks, 1 in the front 1 in the back, and how we level the gauge. Right here you see the yellow button, you can press it and pull up, but then gauge it. Just bring it down until it stops clicking, and you want it there right in front of your break caliber, and the 1 in the back same way. Just pretty much a 90 degree angel. As long as it's holding that tire down you should be just fine.

Today on March 2015 Chrysler 300, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Sprint the-Track Roof Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is TH569. Now I already have our bike loaded up but first let me show you how we strap that down. Right here in the back we have a latching strap with a bushing on it. Now bushings they're just to protect your bike and also to fit those smaller tires like we have here into that little cradle a little better. So we're just going to push on the grey button on the opposite side and pull our strap out.

Inno Roof Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chrysler 300 INA389
Today, on our 2015 Chrysler 300, we're doing a test fit of the Inno Tire Hold Roof-Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is INA389. Now, we already have our bike strapped down, we're first going to go over how we do so. Now, we'll start in the front here. We've got tire holds holding both the front and the back tire in place. This one is just going to be a plain tire hold with an adjustable mounting spot here. You can move that up and down for different tire sizes. Now, in the back, we have the same kind of tire hold. The only difference is going to be that it ratchets down and secures your bike into place.
Thule Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2012 Chrysler 300
Today on our 2012 Chrysler 300 we're going to test fit the Thule Raceway PRO trunk mount 2-bike rack. That part number is TH9001PRO. We already have our bike secured down, we're first going to show you how we do that. We have 2 cradles in place with 3 straps, 2 on our frame and 1 as our anti-sway strap. Start by removing these and we can place our bike off to the side. With that out of the way I always suggest that you replace your straps so you don't lose or damage them and now we'll take a few measurements. First being overall we're adding to our vehicle, we're adding about 19", to reduce that for close quarters situations like parking, we'll come up here and lift up on our gray lever, rotate those arms down, and we'll lock them in place.
Thule Passage Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2012 Chrysler 300
Today on our 2012 Chrysler 300, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Passage 2, trunk mount bike rack. That part number is TH910XT. Now, we already have our bike secured down. First, we're going to show you how we do that. We've got two cradles with three straps, two on our frame and one as our anti-sway strap. We'll start by removing our frame straps first.
Saris Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2012 Chrysler 300
Today on our 2012 Chrysler 300, we're doing a test fit of the Saris SuperBones 3 Trunk-Mount Rack. That part number is SA802. We already have our bike secured down. First, we're going to show you how we do that. We have 3 straps altogether holding our bike in place, 2 on our top at our frame and one as our anti-sway. We'll start be removing these top 2 first. It helps hold that strap down onto the bike frame and push the button to remove that.
Thule Raceway Platform Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2005 Chrysler 300
Today on our 2005 Chrysler 300 well be test fitting the Thule Raceway platform style two bike carrier, part number TH9003. To begin our test fit, weve already set up our bike rack according to the instructions found within the Raceway packaging, so well begin by placing the bike rack on top of our deck lid, making sure that the bottom rests on the bumper cover. Well then take the two cables for the top and clamp them to the deck lid just behind the rear window. Well take the two lower cables and clamp them to the deck lid, here right above the rear bumper cover. We can then ratchet down all four cables, securing our bike rack to the vehicle. With our bike rack secure well now bring out our top bar clamp and make sure that its out of the way.
Thule Raceway Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2005 Chrysler 300
Today on our 2005 Chrysler 300 well be test fitting the Thule Raceway two bike carrier, trunk mount, part number TH9001. To begin our test fit, weve already preassembled the bike rack according to the installation instructions found with the Raceway. Well place our bike rack onto the deck lid, making sure its resting on the bumper cover. Well then take the two top cables and secure them to the deck lid just behind the rear window. We can then ratchet them down using the knobs on either side of the bike rack to hold it into place. Well then do the same with the two lower cables on either side.
